The little indie that could, DARCY, did it.
Personae Entertainment Pictures is happy to announce that DARCY will be distributed online via Herflix (think Netflix, but focussed on pushing the envelop of awareness toward women-helmed/made/themed narrative and documentary films).
AND there's more...
DARCY is also going to be headed toward an ArtHouse near you!
"A film like this is meant to be shared in the ArtHouse theater experience, where people can see it on the larger screen, hear it on Dolby surround sound and engage with each other to discuss afterwards," says Producer/Co-Director/Actress Heidi Philipsen. "That - and Jon Russell Cring (Co-Director/Co-Screenwriter) and I are theater movie-goers at heart. We want to give back to the ArtHouse theaters that gave so much to us and support local indie theaters in their communities."
Thus, DARCY is currently lining up ArtHouse Cinema exhibition for the coming six-months and looking forward to partnering with indie art house theaters across the United States (and outward bound!).
If you know of an ArtHouse theater that would be a great fit, email us at: Eli at personaeentertainmentpictures.com
